„Mit Hartz IV hat jeder das, was er zum Leben braucht.“ When we first heard about this statement by Jens Spahn, a German parliament member and Minister for health, we were not amused, because it seems to be many people’s opinion on poverty. At the same time, it motivated us, even more, to take part in YES and find ways to really give everybody what is necessary to live a human-worth life.

Wednesday, 05:45 am, railway station Burgdorf. We waited for our bus to our Kick-Off Meeting in Essen. It was late. Nobody knew exactly, how long we have to wait for. Nevertheless, we were all motivated. We were happy about our opportunity.

The Young Economic Summit is not only a big challenge for all of us, but it also offers an insight into scientific work as well as real present and future economic problems. We look forward to these challenges and the opportunity to develop solutions for a wide variety of problems.

Eutiners in the State Capital – It Begins!

This was a big day for everyone – not only because we visited the state parliament before our YES!-Kick-Off meeting (and arrived late and dripping with sweat at the ZBW Kiel for that reason) – but also because now, finally, the starting gun had truly been fired for our project!

The Start of our Mission – Cecilien-Gymnasium Düsseldorf

On the 2nd March 2018, our team from Cecilien-Gymnasium Düsseldorf started the project with the Kick-Off at the iwp in Cologne. We chose the topic “How to gain trust in online markets?”, which we discussed over the course of this Kick-Off.
