Institute for Employment Research (IAB)
The Institute for Employment Research (IAB) has been a partner of the YES! – Young Economic Summit since 2020/2021.
To fulfil its legal mandate to the highest possible standards, the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) places equal emphasis on research, data production and scientific policy advice. The Research Institute of the Federal Employment Agency creates the basis for an empirically informed labour policy through nationally and internationally recognised research and collaboration and the development of high-quality datasets.
The IAB researches the labour market in its entirety from the point of view of different disciplines, including within a societal context. On the basis of its findings, the institute provides advice to decision-makers from politics and administrative bodies. The IAB is particularly committed to the dialogue with the public and makes its research findings available in numerous ways.
